1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Dose telehealth platform at https://getdose.co.za. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
Our service is available to South African residents aged 18 and older. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and screening.
3. Nature of Service
Dose facilitates telehealth consultations between patients and HPCSA-registered doctors. We do not provide emergency medical services. Our platform does not replace your relationship with your regular healthcare provider. All medical decisions, including prescriptions, are made by the consulting doctor based on their independent clinical judgment.
4. Prescriptions & Medication
Prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the consulting doctor. GLP-1 medications are Schedule 4 substances under South African law and require a valid prescription. Medication is dispensed by a licensed South African pharmacy and is for your personal use only.
5. Payments
Consultation fees and medication costs are communicated during the process. Payment is processed via Stripe. All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Refund policies will be communicated at the time of purchase.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your treatment at any time by notifying your consulting doctor. We recommend consulting with your doctor before discontinuing medication. There are no long-term contracts or commitments.
7. Limitation of Liability
Dose is a platform facilitating telehealth consultations. Medical liability for treatment outcomes rests with the consulting doctor. We are not liable for adverse reactions to prescribed medication when used as directed.
8. Privacy
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
